ICBM 2027 will be hosted at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre, a leading venue in the heart of Singapore. Designed to support large-scale international events, it provides an ideal setting for scientific sessions, networking and collaboration throughout the conference.

Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre

The Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre, often known simply as Suntec, is a convention centre located in the Central Area of Singapore, a convenient 20-minute ride from Changi International Airport.  Suntec Singapore has acquired a strong reputation as Asia’s preferred and most awarded international venue as well as global recognition as the World’s Leading Meetings & Conference Centre by World Travel Awards.

Suntec implemented sustainable features in their building during the modernisation project in 2012, to play their part in conserving the environment, this optimises the running of the Centre as well as the reduction of the carbon footprint.

Suntec Singapore understands that Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) is vital to them as an organisation. As ‘The Preferred Place to Meet’, they operate business ethically, bearing in mind the need for environmental sustainability and enriching the lives of the local community.

Sustainability Obligations

Suntec collect and recycle almost 8,000 litres of cooking oil per year into biodiesel fuel. Induction cooking is the most energy-efficient way of cooking, nearly 20% more efficient than any other electric cooktop and twice as efficient as cooking with gas. The LED lights are 80% more energy-efficient than traditional halogen lights. This represents savings of 1.46 million kWh annually, which is equivalent to powering 470 apartments for a year. The new chiller plant is 40% more efficient, which represents estimated energy savings of 18.3 million kWh per year.

Environmental, Social & Governance

Suntec Singapore understands that ESG is vital to who we are as an organisation. As ‘The Preferred Place to Meet’, we operate our business ethically; bearing in mind the need for environmental sustainability and enriching the lives of the local community. The Centre is committed in our drive to give back to society and will continue to harness our skills and knowledge to enrich the lives of our community.
